The name 4th Metric offers new possibilities and interpretations to a standard 3 point pattern, and that’s where we shine. Crafting a sound that is a flavourful melting pot of blues, calypso, reggae, gospel, jazz, ska, pop and more. Diverse sound is our unique stamp.
Still, we’ve performed on some of the most iconic stages in the GTA: Harbour Front, Nathan Phillips Square, Afro Fest, Taste of The Danforth, The ROM and so much more. We look forward to continued growth and hope to see you there.
Our Services
Our founder Joe studied with 5 x Grammy Award winner Victor Wooten at his Bass & Nature Camp in 2012. Joe has also taken private lessons with elite and world-renowned Bass players including the legendary Chuck Rainey. Joe is also a Berklee College of Music certified Professional Bass Player (2018) winning the Patty Larkin award as well as continuing studies in Song writing.

You have to love what you do, and we try to stay true to that, challenging ourselves with fun projects, out of the box song selections and arrangements. Sometimes it’s about the message, the stories and perspectives and other times it’s just straight up having fun.
